Europe Books is proud to present “The Creativity in You”, a book by Seun Olatunji

Today we talk about The Creativity in You, a book by Seun Olatunji published with our publishing house Europe Books.

Europe Books had the pleasure of interviewing the author Seun Olatunji to get to know him better, what prompted him to the writing of his book The Creativity in You, as well as how he felt to see his book published.

Below you can find our interview. Take a seat and enjoy your reading!!!

  • What prompted you to the writing of your book?

What really drove me to write The Creativity In You was my passion for helping people uncover their innate creative abilities; not just for personal gain but for societal transformation. I genuinely believe everyone is born with creative potential. But the challenge is, many haven’t tapped into it or don’t know how to apply it purposefully. I wanted to bridge that gap. The book explores creativity’s evolution from ancient survival techniques to today’s tech-driven world and reframes creativity as a teachable and cultivatable skill. I structured it around three core ideas: understanding creativity’s historical impact, learning how to turn ideas into impactful solutions, and mastering how to stay ahead in an ever-changing world. It’s really about awakening people to the truth that creativity isn’t reserved for a select few, it’s within all of us. We just need the clarity, tools, and mindset to unlock it.

  • What characteristics your audience should have to appreciate your book?

To truly connect with The Creativity In You, readers should bring a few key traits. First, curiosity – because the book invites you to ask questions, dig deeper, and reflect on how creative thinking can reshape your world. Then, adaptability is important. Some concepts challenge traditional thinking, so having a willingness to unlearn and relearn helps. Purpose-driven readers – those motivated by a vision to make an impact will find the book especially useful. And finally, I’d say an ability to connect the dots is powerful. I trace creativity from ancient times to AI and digital disruption, so readers who can link past patterns to present realities and future possibilities will gain the most. Whether you’re an entrepreneur, visionary, or leader trying to navigate change, these traits help unlock the full value of the book.

  • What messages did you want to convey with your book?

At its core, the book shares three key messages. First, creativity has always been a force behind human progress – from prehistoric cave art to the AI-driven innovations of today. I wanted readers to see this rich history and understand that they’re part of a bigger creative journey. Second, I emphasize that ideas alone aren’t enough. It’s about turning those ideas into real-world solutions using practical frameworks like design thinking. I share tools and case studies that show how to move from ideation to implementation. And third, I focus on how to stay relevant in this fast-changing, tech-heavy world. With AI, digital disruption, and sustainability at the forefront, the book encourages embracing new technologies, lifelong learning, and having a purpose-driven approach. Ultimately, it’s about empowering people to thrive creatively and make meaningful contributions in their own context.

  • How did it feel to see your book published?

Honestly, it felt amazing. Seeing The Creativity In You finally published was both humbling and exhilarating. It’s my first officially published book, so there was this deep sense of accomplishment, like a vision coming to life. I’m especially grateful to everyone who collaborated with me, especially Dr. Gjoko Muratovski, who wrote the foreword and those who just believed in the message. Huge thanks to Europe Books for taking on the project and helping shape it into something I’m proud of. The whole process from writing to working with the editorial team was enriching. More than anything, I’m thrilled that the message is now out there, reaching readers across different sectors and cultures. It’s rewarding to know that what started as a deep conviction is now a tangible tool in people’s hands.

  • Are you working on a new writing project you can tell us about?

Yes, I’m currently working on an interactive workbook as a companion to The Creativity In You. It’s designed to help readers go beyond theory and actually apply the principles in their personal and professional lives. The workbook will include exercises to build creative mindsets, generate and implement innovative ideas, explore emerging technologies, and develop leadership strategies that drive creativity. It’s very practical; step-by-step tools and reflections that help users measure progress and strengthen innovation capacity. After that, I’m planning a second edition of the main book with updated insights. I see this journey as ongoing – creativity evolves, and so should the tools we use to tap into it. Aside this, I have a weekly newsletter titled ‘The Creativity in You Newsletter’ published on substack which is freely open to the public.

Europe Books thanks the author Seun Olatunji once again for taking the time and answering our questions. We are really pleased to have walked alongside him on the editorial path that led to the publication of his book The Creativity in You. We wish him the best of luck for his book and for his future works.

To you, my dear reader, may this book, through the sharing of three key messages regarding creativity, art and today’s innovations, be for you a source of reflection and inspiration in order to find out in what way you can apply the messages here told in your real everyday life!

So, my dear reader, all I have to say is to enjoy your reading!
