Today we talk about A Cruel Injustice, a book by William A. Pollard published with our publishing house Europe Books.
Europe Books had the pleasure of interviewing the author William A. Pollard to get to know him better, what prompted him to the writing of his book A Cruel Injustice, as well as how his passion for Writing started.
Below you can find our interview. Take a seat and enjoy your reading!!!
- What is the moment that brought you to the writing of your book?
I finished my previous book. I like to keep my inspiration flowing each time I finish a book, so I think about my next book while I’m writing one. I’m totally hooked on writing, and tend to go into writer’s withdrawal if I don’t write about something.
- What are the main themes of your story?
A CRUEL INJUSTICE is a lesson in human nature. What we say in anger is often remembered, and the angrier the words, the more it is remembered. History has a long memory and habit of biting back, so a word said in anger will return to the accuser with consequences.
- What would like to hear from your readers?
What EVERY author likes to hear – that they were unable to put the book down. If that is said by everyone each time they read any of my books, one day they might just become best sellers. In particular, I would like to hear that my book is a hit, from a TV or film Producer…
- How did your passion for Writing start?
COVID! In March, 2020, Covid hit the world and almost everyone was put in lockdown (I bet that there was a population spike nine months later…!) I got bored with playing computer games and decided to do what my family had been prompting me to do for years – write about my experiences, especially after every anecdote that I made – ‘You should write about that…’
- Are you planning to write more books? Can you reveal more about it?
I am in the process of writing my next book. I’m going to give it the title, WHAT IF…? We all, at some time in our lives repeat those eternal words, “What if…” My next book centres around those words, pestering the protagonist with different “What if’s” until he can unravel the daily cause of those ridiculous “What if” annoyances that change his life. Suffice to say that it is a humorous tome.
Europe Books thanks the author William A. Pollard once again for taking the time and answering our questions. We are really pleased to have walked alongside him on the editorial path that led to the publication of his book A Cruel Injustice. We wish him the best of luck for his book and for his future works.
To you, my dear reader, may this book captivate you to the point where you can’t put it down…just as its author hopes!
So, my dear reader, all I have to say is to enjoy your reading!
Your Editor!
