Europe Books is proud to present “Indoors pollution”, a book by Cece France Clark

Today we talk about Indoors pollution, a book by Cece France Clark, published with our Publishing house Europe Books.

Europe Books had the pleasure of interviewing the author, Cece France Clark, to get to know her better, what prompted her to the writing of her book Indoors pollution, as well as how she chose the title of her book.

Below you can find our interview. Take a seat and enjoy your reading!!!

  • What prompted the writing of your book?

The motivation behind Indoors Pollution: A Silent Killer for Your Family stems from a profound sense of urgency regarding the hazards we inadvertently bring into our homes, especially concerning our children. As a practitioner and observer of health, I have witnessed a concerning rise in chronic health issues among the youngest generation. Many of these conditions do not stem from genetics alone, but from the cumulative exposure to synthetic chemicals, volatile organic compounds, and electromagnetic pollution present in our modern living spaces. I realized that our homes, designed for comfort, have become “toxic bubbles.” Children, whose biological systems are still developing, are disproportionately affected by these environmental stressors. I could not remain a silent observer while their future health was compromised by poor indoor air quality and hidden chemical triggers. I wrote this book to bridge the gap between modern architectural convenience and the fundamental biological needs of our children. My goal is to empower parents to recognize these hidden threats and take proactive, corrective action to ensure the safety of their sanctuary.

  • What life experiences do you write about in your book?

My journey is rooted in my professional evolution and my deep desire to protect the most vulnerable. Over years of working in holistic health, I began to observe the undeniable correlation between the domestic environment and the physiological decline of those living within it. I document how modern indoor pollutants—from cleaning agents to smart home technologies—impact the delicate developmental stages of children. These were not just clinical observations; they were heart-wrenching realizations of how our standard lifestyles unknowingly harm our families. My own transition into a more holistic life in the Laurentides region solidified my resolve. Moving away from urban stressors allowed me to analyze the stark contrast between a naturally balanced environment and a chemically saturated one. I draw upon my daily efforts to create sustainable, non-toxic protocols for my own life and surroundings. By sharing these experiences, I aim to provide a practical roadmap for parents who feel their homes are failing their children, demonstrating that creating a healthy, non-toxic environment is not only necessary but entirely achievable.

  • What would you like to hear from your readers?

I hope my readers feel a sense of empowered awareness after closing the final chapter of my book. More than anything, I want to hear that my words acted as a catalyst for tangible, positive change in their households. I would love to hear stories from parents who, after identifying the “silent killers” I discuss, took the initiative to simplify their children’s living environments, eliminate toxic materials, or improve their indoor air quality, and subsequently witnessed a marked improvement in their children’s vitality. I hope the book fosters a community of conscious parenting where readers feel supported enough to question the status quo of modern home maintenance. Ultimately, I want to hear that my work has helped them cultivate a deeper, more mindful connection with their home as a protective “cocon”—an exclusive, peaceful sanctuary where their children can grow and thrive. Hearing that I helped a family create a safer, healthier environment for their little ones would be the greatest possible validation of my work.

  • How did you choose the title of your book?

Choosing the title, Indoors Pollution: A Silent Killer for Your Family, was a deliberate decision to confront the often-ignored reality of our domestic environments. We naturally associate “pollution” with industrial smog or external factors, rarely turning our gaze toward the very walls that shelter our children. I wanted a title that was direct, urgent, and clear. By using the word “silent,” I emphasize the insidious nature of indoor pollutants—they are often odorless, invisible, and pervasive, working slowly to compromise the health of our children. Including “for your family” was essential because I want every parent to realize that their home is the primary environment determining their child’s long-term health. The title is designed to interrupt the complacency of the modern homeowner. It serves as both a warning and an invitation to look deeper into the environment we construct. It reflects the gravity of the subject matter while remaining accessible to anyone who cares deeply about the well-being of their loved ones, especially the children who deserve a healthy start in life.

  • Are you working on a new writing project you can tell us about?

Yes, I am currently deep into the development of my second manuscript, which builds upon the foundation established in this first book. While Indoors Pollution brings awareness to the dangers lurking in our homes, my new project shifts the focus toward a more technical and granular analysis of how specific environmental stressors—such as electromagnetic fields and chemical toxicity—contribute to developmental challenges in children. I am exploring the intersections of indoor chemistry, neurodevelopment, and the importance of creating non-toxic living protocols for growing families. This book will serve as a specialized guide intended to provide parents and caregivers with clear, actionable strategies to mitigate risks. It is a continuation of my professional mission, integrating my expertise in health and my commitment to holistic, protective care. I am incredibly passionate about this project because it provides the evidence-based perspective needed to advocate for a higher standard of living for our children. I hope to provide a guide that is as compassionate as it is rigorous, helping to safeguard the future of the most vulnerable among us.
