- What prompted you to write your book?
The inspiration for writing ‘The Digital Employee Manual’ came from my extensive training experience and my passion for using technology to improve workplace efficiency. Over time, I noticed a rising need for a comprehensive guide to help employees navigate the digital world effectively. I aimed to create a resource that not only addresses common challenges but also empowers employees to boost their productivity and adapt to the constantly changing digital environment. My goal was to offer practical insights and actionable strategies that can truly impact the daily operations of any organization. Additionally, my experience as a presenter on TV and radio shows in Kuwait, where I specialized in themes related to Information Technology, Digital Transformation, Artificial Intelligence, and Cybersecurity, further fuelled my motivation. Through these platforms, I had the opportunity to engage with a wide audience and share valuable knowledge on these critical topics. This exposure allowed me to understand the common concerns and questions that people have regarding the digital world, and I wanted to address these in my book. By combining my professional experience and insights from my media engagements, I aimed to create a manual that is both informative and practical for today’s digital employees.”

Secondly, I sought to highlight the significance of continuous learning and development. My book provides practical insights and strategies to help employees navigate this dynamic environment and remain competitive. Additionally, I wanted to stress the importance of cybersecurity and data protection. In an increasingly digital world, safeguarding sensitive information is paramount. My book offers guidance on how to implement robust cybersecurity measures and protect against potential threats. Moreover, I suggested using AI tools in office automation to streamline processes and improve productivity. By integrating AI into everyday tasks, employees can focus on more strategic and creative aspects of their roles, leading to greater innovation and efficiency. Lastly, I aimed to inspire a proactive and innovative mindset. By encouraging employees to think creatively and embrace new technologies, they can drive positive change and foster a culture of innovation within their organizations. Overall, my book is a comprehensive guide designed to empower employees to thrive in the digital age.

- Are you working on a new writing project you can tell us about?
Yes, I am currently finalizing my new book on cybersecurity and online safety. This project is particularly close to my heart as it addresses one of the most critical issues in today’s digital world. The book aims to provide comprehensive insights into the best practices for protecting sensitive information and maintaining robust cybersecurity measures. It covers a wide range of topics, including threat detection, risk management, and the latest advancements in cybersecurity technology. My goal is to equip readers with the knowledge and tools they need to safeguard their digital assets and navigate the complexities of the cyber landscape confidently. I believe this book will be an invaluable resource for individuals and organizations alike, helping them to stay ahead of potential threats and ensure their digital safety.
